Simone Biles

Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born on March 14, 1997, in Columbus Ohio U.S.A. The 2016 Olympics were held in Rio de Janeiro and Biles became the U.S.'s only female gymnast ever to earn 4 gold medals. She also won the title of world champion for all-around, three times in succession (2013-15). Biles is from Spring Texas. Her grandparents Ronald Biles (and her sister Adria) took them in as adoptees. They were raised in the metropolitan areas of Houston. Simone was first able to show the sport of gymnastics seriously as a six-year-old in a school field trip at Bannon Gymnastix. Aimee Borman was her coach for the following 11 years. Biles has won the gold and bronze medals in the women's Junior Olympic National Championships 2010 in floor and vault prior to her first appearance in 2011 in the elite section of gymnastics competition. In just two short years, she became the best in her sport. Biles stood out for her consistently consistent and having a lively and energetic personality and incorporating an extreme amount of difficulty into all her events vaulting uneven floor workouts.
