Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah (born in India) is a playback vocalist as well as an actress and musician. She works primarily as the performer as well as a music director for Tamil and Malayalam-language films. Her acting debut was in Tamil movie Pachaikili Muthucharam and also made her Malayalam debut with Annayum's Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah was born in an Anglo-Indian family in Arakkonam the capital of Tamil Nadu.Andrea's dad is an attorney with the Madras High Court. There is a younger sister who lives and works at Leuven Belgium as researcher assistant. Jeremiah, who was born in Chennai has attended National Public School. He has graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea was able to begin studying piano at age eight. She was a big fan of geeks and wanted to be psychiatrist. At age 10 she was involved in the group called the Jackson Five Young Stars which formed the beginning of her early singing and music composing career. In her school, she was an artist in the theater and participated in numerous stage productions organised by The Madras Players. Andrea was President of the Student Senate at Women's Christian College. Andrea began her acting career through Girish Karnad's Nagamandala. In 2006, she starred in a new leo advertisement alongside actor Shiva. The actress was also part of a show that was shown on Podhigai. She has performed roles in India. She played a minor role in the Kanda Mudhal finale (2005). She performed a number of songs for Gautham Vasudev's Vettaiyaadu. He wanted her to appear as one of his main female characters as part of Pachaikili Muthucharam. This film was a film adaptation of the novel by James Siegel Derailed. It featured Andrea as Kalyani a homemaker whose husband has an affair with her which leads to her being blackmailed. Andrea was chosen for the role following the actresses Simran Shobana and Tabu were sought out. The film premiered in the early 2010s. The film was released in early 2010. as part of Venkat's Mankatha that was released in 2011. The film featured a variety of actors. In 2013 she began her career in Malayalam cinema with Rajeev Ravi's romantic film Annayum Rasoolum.
